If you have the interest then you can go for diploma in Interior Designing while studying Civil Engineering but you can not apply for the degree programme in Interior Designing.
Main paper 1 is to give admission for B.tech and B.E and paper 2 is for architecture. If you want to be interior designer you can apply for NIFT exam. Do you have any other doubt?
