Intern
Hi
You seem confused regarding what to study for a good internship and placement and I would like to say welcome aboard. This is case with every student, irrespective of the branch. Being in an NIT already provides you ton of options to explore from and that is exactly what you should do! Explore your interests. There could be a statistical answer i.e. you focus on coding and computer languages like Python, C++, Java etc. however, this will give you an edge in placements because of vacancies specifically for software engineers and jobs alike but this will not work if you have no interest in reading those languages because then you have to study mechanical as well as computer courses. I apologize if this confuses but the truth there is no exact answer or solution. You made it to NIT and then you can go further ahead too!
If you have a further specific query please feel free to comment.
Best of Luck.
Look, you may have interest in Software, Analytics or Finance but that doesnt imply not giving attention to your current Mechanical curriculum. Firstly you should keep up with your Course Curriculum and Tests and ensure you maintain a CGPA above 8, before you venture and start working on your own interests.
Now coming to the Software Part, most of the NITs entertain wide number of Software and Finance Companies during Placements and Internships. You need to first master the Three main Programming Languages namely C/C++/Python followed by regular practice of Competitive Programming on platforms like HackerRank or CodeForces. Besides this you also need to develop skills in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence as well as Data Analytics, which are equally critical for a career in Tech Fields followed by a Couple of Internships in Software Development/Machine Learning/Data Analytics. In todays date lot of Virtual Resources are available for aceing in any area like Courses from Udemy, Coursera and EDx as well as Virtual Internships amd Trainings from Providers like Forage and InsideSherpa.
Hello,
Generally GTU final year exam schedule is in May and same month results also come. But after that you may have less time to apply for visa and also the certificate you need from GTU.
Because actual marksheet and degree comes in January. So from my experience and prospective you can apply for July or September intake means winter intake rather than summer.
All The Best.
Currently there is no opening in forensic department, but there are other department openings for physicians with requirement of work experience in Internship and/or Residency;Licence or certification for Mental Health only Crisis Prevention Instruction (CPI) required. Also both full time and on call openings are available.
Hello Amrita
You will need temporary or provisional registration at the time of applying for neet . At the time of counselling you need all mandatory original documents like neet score card , neet admit card x and xii mark sheet, xii passing certificate, caste Certificate if any etc.
NEXT (National Exit Test) is proposed to be conducted after 3 years from the day of passing of NMC bill. Since NMC bill was passed last year, the first NEXT exam is probably going to be conducted from 2022. The first batch to appear for it will be 2K17 batch.
So no, you wouldn't be giving NEXT in 2021 even if you take a drop year. You would still be appearing for NEET-PG.
