Iiit gwalior is older than iiit Jabalpur. And have a good reputation among companies . This make them better than iiit Jabalpur in placement. And also iiit gwalior have much better faculty, facilities, infrastructure, recognition than iiit Jabalpur.

With such a rank in JEE Mains, you can get some top NITs and IIITs and GFTIs. In the top NITs and IIITs, you won't be able to get core branches like CSE or IT. But you can gt branches like civil, mechanical, petroleum, etc.

With that rank in JEE Mains and also being from general category, you have no chances of getting a seat in core branches like CSE or IT in the NITs IIITs and GFTIs.
If you have home state quota, then you might get some seat in the newer NITs

Hello, if you have interest in a specific branch then you can take that branch.
Otherwise I would recommend you to go with Nit Agartala as it is a Nit and most importantly highly ranked college in Nirf ranking.

With your quoted details you won't be getting any college through JOSSA councelling.
I would suggest you to go for other Engineering entrance and state level entrance exams or drop a year and try again next year.
