If you are from General category then it will be difficult for you to get into NITs. However, if you have any reservation of EWS/OBC/SC/ST then you stand a chance at lower NITs and home state NIT of your state.

This is because,

You have not even qualified JEE mains with 42.875 percentile as you belong to SC category and qualifying cutoff for SC category is 50.1

You have very good chances of getting seat in NIT with 11615 rank in general.
