Sorry , hard luck.The chances are minimum that you can get any NIT or IIT . But definitely you can try your luck in spot counselling for colleges other than NITs and IITs accepting jee mains score like HBTU, Thapar university etc.All the best.

Hello Aspirant,

You can surely get admission into NIT's based upon your rank in JEE mains. You may not be able to get into top NIT's but yes getting admission in Mid level NIT's would be easy. Like for CSE you can get NIT Poducherry and many more. Getting CSE

Hello Rupesh,

Yes you can surely get admission into NIT and GFTI based upon your rank. As per previous year cutoff you might not get into top NIT's but you can surely get into mid level NIT's. Also gettting admission in GFTI's can be done easily. I suggest you to

It depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category

You should have given JEE main exam and have received enough marks to qualify for iiit and gfti. Only 12th marks are not enough to get admission into these colleges.

See, you just missed the cuttoff which is approx to 89.7 and you clearly know that without clearing the JEE mains Cuttoff you can't even get the lower branch in any of the NIT / IIIT / GFTI Institute's in India. So it might be better if you

Unfortunately with a rank of 130k you cannot get admission in NIT, IIIT or Gfti colleges. Even getting admission in government colleges is difficult with the above rank. You can try writing other state run entrance tests to get admission in colleges such as RV, KIIT, VIT and

The chances of getting a government seat with your rank are somewhat low, as most government colleges require higher ranks, even considering your category and state quota. You have a high chance of getting waitlisted.
