It is highly advisable for you to take VIT instead of new IIITs. VIT has ranked better than most of the NITs in the NIRF rankings. VITs academics is also very flexible. The issue with new IIITs will be poor infrastructure, very poor alumni network, poor placements, not-so-good

I'm sorry to say but at this rank of yours, it is really difficult to get admission to any of the NITs. Although under OBC quota, there is a slight chance of getting a seat in GFTIs, specially under the spot round. Also, it would not be possible

Hey there Pranav, with 43324 rank in JEE mains NITs will be a tough call for you but IIITs shouldn't be. Here is a list of colleges you can try for if you don't have any preferred branch or location

According to your percentile in jee mains your general rank will be close to 3.5lakh and your category rank will be 12k + and with this rank you have very less chance to get seat in any NIT or IIIT.

It might be difficult to get iiit college at that rank cause the closing rank for iiit is around 26k. But you can take nit cause the closing rank for this is around 33k or more. According to me, you can take nit college for engineering. But still
