International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar
Dear Aspirant
First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance and I would like to tell you that based on your rank in obc category and considering the fact that you belong to Obc category you can get a seat in government college but I would suggest you to don't fully dependent on special round counselling. Keep one more backup option.
Good luck for your future :)
Feel free to ask if you have any further queries.
Hi dear,
Hope you are doing well!
Now let's go through your question.
Though your question is unclear I would like you to know this. Firstly, indian Institutes of Information Technology(IIITs) are a group of institutes of higher education in India, focused on information technology.
And five of them are established, funded and managed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The rest are set up on the public-private partnership model.
Difference between IITs & IIITs?
IITs are better. IIIT is also good but when compared to IITs it will have low rank. Entry to IIT is through the iit-jee, while for IIIT it is done through AIEEE/JEE Mains score. Both are top institutes to pursue engineering education but IIT should be preferred first than IIIT.
There are currently 4 IIITs that are well known in India:
Thank You & All the best!
Hey!
You have very less chances of getting good NITs or IIITs with that rank. But you can get some branches in some of the NITs.
Use the below link to predict the colleges which you may get with your rank

Good luck!
Hello Abhijit,
You get around 90 percentile in JEE main It means 90% students are behind you and only 10% students are ahead of you it means your rank would be around 100000 so you can estimate that whether it is a good score or not I don't think that it is a good score because you will not get any NIT.
If you are from the general and OBC category, then you will not get any NIT or IIT.
If you are from SC, ST and PWD then surely you will get an NIT.
Hello Aspirant,
With this percentile the chance seems less to get a seat in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs but you can try for the state level counselling. To know your admission possibilities in state level counselling, you wish to apply, You can use JEE Main college predictor tool given below.
If you mention your JEE Main rank, I can help you about the admission possibilities in state level counselling.
Good Luck!
Well you can quit all hopes of getting any of the 31 NITs. Even for IIITs you should know there is no girls quota there. The lowest IIIT like IIIT Bhagalpur also closed at about 18,000 OBC-NCL rank in the special round so please look somewhere else because getting a seat through JOSAA seems highly unlikely.
