62k obc rank in jee mains can I get nit or iiit college

i m very sorry to say have very high rank 62k where as to get any of the Nits and iits the rank should be below 2000 so you might have get the colleges for private college i suggest you to use the jee college predictor

First understand the thumb Rule

Top 10000 students will be in IIT
In Term of General Category- Top 25000–35000 students will be in NIT
In last 4 years JEE main All India Rank have beeen given on the basis of jee main scorre and board marks and fluctuation

Hello Mausam,
I m sorry to say that you are not eligible for any NIT or IIT with 58.25 percentile in OBC category because minimum cut off for OBC as per estimation is 74.3166.

if u belong to general category or OBC then u r nt eligible for admission into IITs NITs and even BITS..
u can fill improvement form and can excel your board marks in 2020..good luck !

Hey Drashti,

With this much rank of around 41 thousand, You may get branches like chemical , civil, production engineering at NITs like NIT JSR , Durgapur, Rourkela, etc. If you want a better branch then go for Northeastern NITs. I hope you have got the point.

With your ST rank you have no chances to get CSE in any NIT or IIIT. That is for sure. But you might get some lower branches like Food technology etc in some lower NITs. I would suggest you to go for some private engineering colleges with your desired
