Hello,
Congratulations on getting such good college and branch options. I will give you a preference list which will comprise of all these factors:
The preference order you should consider is:
NIT Rourkela has emerged as a brilliant institution paving it's way upwards and ahead among the prestigious institutions of the country.
I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet more reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website. An interest in the field is the key factor in deciding how your 4 years of college will be and what opportunities you will land for yourself.
Good luck, hope it helps!!
Considering strong Placement scope, Faculty, Infrastructure and prospects in Projects and excellent employer and academic outlook, you preference should be
1. IIITM Gwalior
2. IIIT Lucknow CSE
3. IIIT Pune CSE
4. IIIT Bhubaneshwar CSE
5. IIIT Kancheepuram CSE
Incase you get IT, thats also as good as CSE at IIIT. Most of the above IIITs have strong Placements.

Hi Ambala, hope you are doing well. Now as per your question I want to mention that it is quite difficult to compare these two institutes solely on the basis of CSE Branch. Both are equally good institutes with good faculty. Both NIT Agartala and IIIT Bhubaneswar have been set up in 2006. Both offer very good placements too. Now coming to main part, according to me NIT Agartala will have the upper hand than IIIT Bhubaneswar as not only its higher ranked than its compatriot in NIRF but is also an Institute of National Importance set up by the Union Government of India and functions under MHRD. Morover NIT Agartala has branches ranging from CSE to Biotech whereas IIIT Bhubaneswar provides B.Tech and M.tech courses only in CSE,ECE, IT & Electronics And electrical engineering which means the number of companies visiting the campus for placements is quite huge in NIT Agartala compared to IIIT Bhubaneswar. Hence you get more exposure in terms of choices. Now if you are an IT freak and think of landing developing personal skills in CSE then go for IIIT BHUBANESWAR. Morover the overall fees for B.Tech(4 yrs) of NIT Agartala is quite less compared to its compatriot. Hope this helps
Thanking you
Yours sincerely
