I would advice you to go for Software Engineering in DTU when it comes to both of these options. DTU has better ranking that Lucknow IIIT and better placements in Software sector. With software engineering, you will be working with one of the best companies of the world.

Well IIIT Hyderabad gets its own cutoff for the admission through JEE Main marks.

There are 4 rounds of counseling involved in its admission. To be on the safer side, one must secure anything above 250 marks so that he/she might get into the university.
