How is IIITH computer aided Structural Engineering in terms of Placement? Does they have winter admission session?

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 16th Aug, 2020

Hello,

CASE ( Computer Aided Structural Engineering) is a 2 year PG course. it is not a seasonal course but a degree program. You can do if you have completed UG in civil engineering. You have to apply for admission as you do in any normal admission process.

In terms of placement, It is organized by IIT. They bring in best opportunities for students. So if you take admission then you will surely get placement options. It is only your side where you have to perform best to grab the offer. For that , you have to use 2 years to learn and improvise your skills so that recruiter will think that you will do profit for the organization

for previous year placement details regarding MTech CASE;- please refer the link below:-

Hope it helps!

when will the results of UGEE IIITH 2020 interview round be declared???

Raja 9th Aug, 2020

The interviews were conducted around 28th and 29th of July. So it would take maybe a period of 10-15 days after that for the admissions authority to compile and come up with the results of finally selected candidates. This is a fair procedure and thus takes sufficient time. After all, it is the future and career of someone which is important. So wait for the results!
Good luck!

if given both options, which one is better .. CSE from VIT or Double graduation in CS ( UGEE) from IIIT Hyderabad.. what are pros and cons ?

Raja 8th Aug, 2020

It depends on your future plans. UGEE mode is for dual degree admission in BTech+MS programm in IIITH. It is more research oriented and will prepare you for research based jobs and higher studies. If you want to get into that, go ahead.
While normal BTech CSE from VIT will also be better if you want to get into job immediately and are less research oriented.

which is better course from IIIT Hyderabad... 4 years CSE MTECH or 5 years double graduation UGCE ?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 8th Aug, 2020

hi apurva,

see iiit hyderabad is one of the best institute to study engineering courses, now it offers admission to three channels, either of kvpy/ jee main / dasa . for undergraduate courses you have two options, either you have to choose btech single course program of ece/ cse duration of 4 years or you may go for dual degree program which includes b.tech and ms course for research. hence for five years course you would awarded MS degree which is really beneficial for those who wants to go for research oriented field. the main difference between 4 years b.tech and five years dual degree program is mostly thesis based like if you chose computer science engineering than you may do ms thesis on Computational Linguistics/ Computational Natural Sciences/ Computing and Human Sciences. however you may go for ms or m.tech course after completing btech in reputed college of india or abroad, but it takes 2-3 years to complete. now see if getting a decent job after btech is your main concern than you should go for 4 years btech, other wise you are keen interest for research, or want to go for doctorate course in near future dual degree program is best for you.

hope it would help.

Hello.
According to the past year cutoff analysis cutoff  in SRMJEE  for Computer Science and Engineering branch close till 10000 and remember this is  a probable idea it may vary according to the fluctuations this year because the cutoff depends upon the number of candidates appeared for the exam, difficulty level of the exam, total number of seats available for more details you can read through the below link:

Best of luck.
