IIIT selects a candidate on the basis of the score obtained in Joint Entrance Examination(Main) and the academic records in 10+2 or equivalent examination. For IIITD you have to obtain aggregate of atleast 80% in PCM whereas IIITH takes 75% aggregate weightage as their minimum qualification criteria.

The syllabus is same as Jee mains, so you have to cover all the topics of physics, chemistry and mathematics and properly revise your NCERT books as the base of question paper is your Ncert books.

He can get CSE as well as ECE at IIIT H.
