To get admission in IIIT Hyderabad , for B.Tech admission .. there are  four channels through which you will get admission :

• JEE Main Channel

1. Should satisfy the criteria for JEE MAIN exam
2. Should have appeared and gained the required qualified marks

• DASA Channel

1. Should qualify 12th exam with Physics chemistry and Math
2. Required percentage 60%.

• NTSE-KVPY/Olympiad Channel

1. NTSE-KVPY:  Should pass 12th qualifying exam  and also qualified (i) NTSE, (OR) (ii) KVPY.
2. Olympiads: Should pass 12th exam and selected for training in Science and Linguistics to represent India in International Olympiads.

• SPEC Channel

1. Need to gain some extraordinary talent or studying in a six year integrated Class XII + four year undergraduate programme .

UGEE 2022 conducted by IIITH have two sections first one is SUPR ( subject proficiency test ) and the other one is REAP ( research aptitude test ).

And here's your answer there is no negative marking in first section but there  is negative marking in the second section.

There is no information available about how much marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

As per your query I would like to inform you that if you wish to take admission in Indian Institute of Technology - IIT Hyderabad, JEE - Mains will not be enough you need to appear for JEE - Advanced to secure your seat in IIT - Hyderabad. The closing cutoff ranges roughly from 4000 to 6000 for males and upto 8000 to 9000 for males.

Admission for the batch 2022 will start soon after the successfully completion of jee mains because iiit Hyderabad give admission on jee mains too , first attempt of jee will be in June from 20 to 29 ,and second attempt will be conducted of jee mains from 20 July to 29 July ,and then all admission for btech in various courses will be started , the application form for first attempt has filled , and for second attempt ,starting very soon .

The most common option after qualifying GATE is to pursue M.E/M.Tech/Phd in NITs , IIITs, IITs and CFTIs. Selection of the candidates in any institute is done on the basis of their GATE scores. Candidates should also know which is the right institute, course, specialization for them.
