Yes, ECE branch is available in IIIT hyderabad.

In order to take admission in this college you have to appear for JEE Main exam.

To be eligible you should have  60% marks in Maths, Physics and Chemistry in Class XII.

From then till now IIIT-Hyderabad has kept it’s standard the same, it’s the NIT’s who are making their’s low. So IIIT-H is taking the same top minds that it used to without any compromise.

So at the end the main reasons for the high cutoffs( same as old days )

 You can take admission in private colleges of Maharashtra through MHT CET or JEE Main.

Other state students are not eligible to take admission in COEP. In order to be eligible you should have domicile certificate of Maharashtra.
