International Institute of Information Technology, Pune
Hey Aspirant
Engineering is an ever-growing field of education in our country. While most applicants opt for the traditional way of attempting the entrance examination for the first year of admissions into the institutes offering B.E./B.Tech courses, there are plenty of alternatives too. One such alternative is a lateral entry
The most common admission procedure for B.Tech lateral entry is entrance examination. Various states, private institutions and deemed to be Universities conduct entrance examinations to provide admissions to those candidates who meet the B.Tech lateral entry eligibility criteria. Along with passing the entrance examination with the required merit, the candidates are also required to meet the specific eligibility for B.Tech lateral entry which will be released by the respective authorities.
Still there is a suggestion, keep yourself updated with the information available at their official website.
Good luck!!!
Hello Aspirant,
I hope you are doing well.
A government college is unquestionably better than a private college based on its name alone; it has value in terms of its name and other factors.
As a National Institute, it will almost certainly receive a permanent campus. The Ministry of Housing and Rural Development has already approved funds for its construction. However, it is possible that the campus will take 5–10 years to complete.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck
Hey Student,
IIIT Pune is far better than IIIT Sri City due to all the reasons be it infrastructure, academics, faculty or placements. Also in a study, it has been found that Pune is becoming the second highest paying job city. It is a advantage and you should take benefit of it. The teachers here are very educated and qualified. They are very supportive as well. You'll find yourself surrounded by the best faculty here. I'll strongly suggest you to go for IIIT Pune.
All the best student,
Hope this helps you.
IIIT Pune is a 2016 founded private engrg. college. It gives B.Tech degree with an input capability of 175 candidates in the CSE dept. and 50 candidates in the ECE dept.
The reception these happen through JEE Mains and AP EAMCET. It has a decent framework, apt faculty members for each department. Its placements opportunities have skyrocketed from last year. The no. of MNCs like Amazon, Practice, TCS, Intel, Pay Pal, Deloitte, LTI, etc. that paid a visit to the college has increased from 22 to 56. The top income offered was INR 36 LPA while the average was INR 14-15 LPA.
IIIT Sri City is a 2013 founded private Engrg. The college also has the same 2 B. Tech courses as the above college but it has better infrastructure, faculty members, and it is your money and time. But the placement aspect of this college does not score higher than the above college. The top income offered differs in both the departments. The CSE dept saw the top earnings of INR 43 LPA whereas the average was 12 LPA. The ECE dept saw 60% of its students getting a placement with a top income of 25 LPA and a median was 8.6 LPA.
You can choose which institution is better for you.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.
Here I would prefer to join nit andhra pradesh as it has better course cirriculum and focusses more on research which ultimately improves the academic level of nitap also the placements here are better if you compare as a whole although with iiit pune you might get the location advantage but overall looking at placements academics and other factors I would suggest you to join NITAP so choose wisely.
Hello,
Hope you are doing well
According to reports ,Last year the institute shifted to its new campus on Saswad road, but it's own new campus has been allocated which is about 100 acres and the construction has began by the Central Public Works Department, it may take 1-2 years.
Hi,
I²IT Pune is a good college with regards to several points. The infrastructure here is good and a lot green. The campus and the hostel is well maintained and the teachers are good and experienced. You are offered a number of internships here. When it comes to placements, most of the students get placed in the 4th year and the highest packages was 9 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. The average is around 4.5 LPA.
I hope this helps,
All the best.
If you are a person who is willing to compromise with cse branch not to vast extent but enough to be satisfied with ece then nit kkr ece is best option and then iiit lucknow IT because its placements have improved vastly over the years then come nit durgapur and jamshedpur both go neck to neck and it depends which one you want to choose and other colleges since they are comparatively newer I wont advice you to go with them as not much information about coding/placements and other things are available about them.
According to me iiit lucknow will be the best option available to you here the coding competition is good that will ultimately help you also the placements here have improved over the years to a large extent and good companies are comming here to hire students while if you want to go with a brand name of nit then nit durgapur ece will also be a good option but ultimately decision is yours choose wisely.
