Which is better- IMI Delhi PGDM- HR OR LBSIM Core?

Adil Suaib Khan Student Expert 8th Apr, 2020

Hii Paridhi,

IMI is 2nd Best among NIRF ranked colleges in Delhi in 2019 on the other hand 9th Best among NIRF ranked colleges in Delhi in 2019  , this already has answered a lot of questions. Though both of them have a similar placement opportunity for their students with average  package being 8.6 Lakhs per annum at LBSIM and 14  lakhs per annum at IMI, though the highest package is same which is 21 lakhs per annum.  With regard to brand name IMI Delhi would be a better choice in comparison to LBSIM.

If i didnt perform in gdpi, then what percentile should i score in cat to get in imi delhi?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 16th Mar, 2020

hi,

International management institute delhi shortlisted candidates based on their cat score , after that candidates are called for final rounds  of selection process which consists of essay writing, psychometric test, and personal interview. the final selection is based on  higher score or  percentage holder in all rounds depending on the total number of applicants of program. so you also need to perform well in gd pi  and writing test rounds.

my 10,12 and graduation marks are in 60s will imi delhi consider me if i have work ex of 3 years with 90 percentile?

S. Saha Student Expert 16th Mar, 2020

Admission to IMI Delhi 2020 will be offered on the basis of candidates score in CAT, class 10th and 12th, relevant work experience and personal interview. You have 10, 12 and graduation marks in 60s as you said, which gives a negative impact though you have an advantage of having three years of work experience.

Last year, IMI Delhi had CAT cutoff of 90 percentile and sectional cutoffs were-

VARC  -  75

DI & LR  -  70

QA  -  70

You know the cutoffs change every year as it depends on various factors. Try to score more than 90 percentile so that all the negative sides can be covered up.

All the best.

sir/madam i m currently pursuing B.Sc Ag four year bachelors course in agriculture which are the options for me after B.Sc in gate exam (Research) and what shall be the future scope of that.Pls guide me Am i elligible for gate exam after B.Sc Ag? Can i go into government organisation like BRAC,DRDO

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 25th Feb, 2020

hi,

see psus or research organization has less vacancy for agriculture engineering compare to other streams, now after clear gate exam you can do master ins agriculture engineering from reputed institute like iit kgp and do research , after completing m.tech most of the students either go for phd in abroad or get job in reputed sector.

however you may also do mba in agribusiness if you are interested in management field .

how is IMI bhubneshwar ? whats the cat/xat cutoffs ? Curriculum and placements ?

harshitasharansrivastava Student Expert 15th Feb, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

IMI Bhubhneswar is a good college and you will be able to get a call letter from the college if you have secured 60 percentile in any of the mba entrance exam. However the college does not offer good ROI. The college placement scenario is good. companies like Outlook magazine, Byju's, Jaro Education, ICICI bank, Varite, Executive B. School visit the collge for final placement. Average placement package is 6.5lpa to 11 LPA. For SIP the range of stipend for SIP is 7,500 to 25000 p. m. The ambiance at IMI Bhubaneswar offers a unique and complete learning experience with good infrastructure facilities.

Good Luck
