It is very difficult for me to give you information about this as we only have data of boards exams. And you have not mentioned the boards too. In 2020, a total of 12,03,595 students registered for CBSE Board Class 12 examination 2020 out of which 11,92,961 appeared in exams of whom 10,59,080 students passed the Class 12 board exams.

In order to become an IPS Officer, you must apply for CSE exam conducted by the UPSC. You must also crack the exam (preliminary, mains and interview) in order to get selected for the training. T he basic eligibility criteria required to appear for this exam is – you must possess Graduate Degree from a recognized University/Institute. After 12th first earn a degree and prepare for these exams.You may start off CSE preparation by focusing on current affairs, making notes (related to current affairs) and reading newspapers daily.
