Hi Priyanshu!
Tata Motors gives the opportunity of hands on experience to students by offering internships. To apply for internships there are two ways: either by campus placement or by online application through website. If Tata motors visit your campus for interrnships then you must apply through that, but most of the colleges doesn't give this opportunity to 1st or 2nd year students. This is for 3rd or 4th year students. SO, you can apply by website, you can write them mail to summertraining@tatamotors.com (mailto:summertraining@tatamotors.com) Keep the subject as "Request for Application form". They will definitely revert you back with the application form. Fill out the form and do not forget to attach CV and cover letter. If you CV is good enough and you have good GPA then you will be selected for sure.
Hope I answered your query, thankyou!

HEllo,
You first need to check out companies in this field. Then get the contact details of the HR section and write them an email stating your interest in doing an internship with them. Many companies won't reply but keep sending them an email.
Another way, which would work the best is by contacting anyone you know who works there, so that you can take their reference and get an opportunity to do an internship.
Another way is through social media platforms like LinkedIn, Internshala, etc where they regularly post such opportunities. This method may help you to get a wider reach.
Good Luck
Being in 2nd Year, you can perhaps do the Tata Prashikshan Internship right now or anytime in future. Thank You!
The internships of any recognized company after the completion of the degree or any other occurrence are considered gaps. GAP is a term that refers to students who take a year (or less, rarely more) of their regular studies, usually between high school (upper secondary school) and college (university). It will be counted as work experience and you can add it to your resume, this will definitely give you an edge over other students if you want to get any other degree (masters).
