ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 30th Jul, 2020

Hey!

Internships are basically real life trainings which are given to students so as to provide them idea about any work or industry. Internships are basically provided by the campus/colleges or students can choose off campus internships. Internships are provided to undergraduate or post graduation students during their studies. After 10+2 you can do any work as per your interest, but you cannot consider it as internship.

Thank you

how many months internship in mba finance would be required in order to get a job?

S. Saha Student Expert 29th Jul, 2020
In MBA, students usually have to do internships and doing internships can help you to get good industry exposure. While MBA is a two year course, there is 6 months Summer internship programme provided to students by the college itself. Or sometimes students' have to find internships by their own. Doing an internship of around 3 months to 6 months, can add a good value in your resume. This will enhance your chances of securing your dream job. After internship when you are going to work for any other companies, the knowledge and experience you gained there in the internship would help you a lot.

Why is an internship necessary ?

nishant sharma 25th Jul, 2020

Hello Student ,

In short , doing an internship will exposes you to new people in a more controlled and stable environment. It provides a nice learning curve to you as while studying in college you have very little experience in the professional world. Moreover, it helps gain confidence and gives an in-depth practical knowledge of what has already been taught theoretically.

I hope you got your answer !

I scored 94/77 percentage in X/Xll, I have a cgpa of 6.45(with 14 history of backlogs) in B TECH ECE with 6 month of internship experience (in a VLSI firm without salary), Do I have a chance of getting into one of top B Schools(based on past),How much should I score minimum in CAT 2021(I am OBC) ?

mail2ankit04 22nd Jul, 2020
Hello Aspirant

Being an Engineering graduate you need to score 99+ percentile in CAT to secure a call from top MBA colleges though even at this percentile some colleges won't call you considering your graduation and 12th marks.
Your profile is not good, to be very honest. Class 12th and graduation marks are a major drawback in your profile. That's why you need to score as much as you can.
You should also get a full time job if you want to score some points in work experience since internships are not considered as work experience in CAT. But all this will matter only when you would get a call so score as high as you can to secure a call first.

All the best.

what is the perfect time for internship in fashion designing during the course that is bdes in fashion designing by nift delhi?

Raja 22nd Aug, 2020

BDes is a professional undergraduate course of 4 years. You must start applying for internships by the end of 2nd year. Some of the students also try after their first year but they have very less chance to get a core internship. So try to score some good internships under good colleges or firms.
Good luck!

rehan18alam Student Expert 17th Aug, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

If you have the skills and the company you are applying for have a position for you, that is, not with a branch restriction, then surely you can apply there and do that internship provided that you are selected.

However, some companies do not take students from other streams, so make sure that you are applying where there is no such restrictions.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

Will iit Madras provide internship, projects & companies for placement in their online degree course of programming and data science?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 17th Aug, 2020

hi,

see bsc course on data science is the newly program launched by iit madras., students who have dropped from their graduation or currently pursuing any bachelor course are eligible to apply. however it would be an distance learning program,

The program is split into three levels that have to be completed strictly in sequence:

1: Foundational Level (8 courses)

2: Diploma Level (6 Programming courses + 6 Data Science courses)

3: Degree Level (11 courses)

however as per the official brochure there is no mention of compulsory placement. also there is no mention of projects, course is divided in several parts and you have to qualify the exam to get the certificates of each step. this course is best for those who are working professional or in any other course pursuing want to join for learning and further careers growth.
