Yes, don't think at all that this gonna effect your placements. Even students who fail in graduation years are considered for placements, So this thing should not affect your level of confidence at any stage.

You might get a question from the interviewer that why you took a gap year after 12th, just give a genuine reply that why you actually took a gap year, is it because you were preparing for exams or you were ill, you were not sure which course to choose or any xyz reason for which you took a gap year. A gap year after 12th is not at all hindrance in any of the placements.

As you have attended the technical interview and it has been 6 days. So let me tell you that if you are getting placed through campus placement then it will take time to get the results because these are bulk hiring companies so it would take an appreciable amount of time.

But don't worry soon the list will be released and you would also get the mail for it so kindly check your mail regularly.

The interview results usually they give you by mail you've provided. It has been 10 days already wait for few more days. They'll mail you, if they won't mail in 1 month the possibility of getting accepted are less. You must look for another job, don't wait more than a month.

Hope you are doing good. Cognizant for genc generally takes 2 interview for the role after passing a exam or through digital nurture process. The technical round is generally a long process in your case which is 37 min. The entire process is completed through superset portal keep an eye in the superset portal the results will be reflected in the results section when they update. And the next concern they generally call candidates for hr interview after clearing the technical round.

In the interview of cognizant it's not necessary that for every participant they will ask the same type of questions . If you got through the interview you will definitely get the mail from the hr or if you are from the campus placement then you will get the list for the selected candidates.
