I have 2 marksheets. One with ISC (COMMERCE) with English and NIOS on demand with PCB.How do I upload my marksheet while phase 2 registration?and will they verify and accept both the marksheet while councelling?

Piyush kesarwani 7th Apr, 2022

Hello aspirant,

I would like to tell you that YES, NEET has said that they will accept the NIOS marksheet as well. So, you do not need to worry about that.

further, during the time of registration, you can provide both of your marksheet, that is both ISC and NIOS class 12th board marksheet will be accepted and will be verified by the NEET authorities. so, there is not any issue about that as well.

Further, to know more about the NEET Examination, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more : https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-2022

I hope that this will help.

I have opted for Humanities in class 12(ISC board) . I have the following subjects : Geography, History, Political Science and Economics besides English. I want to pursue MSc in Geography amd not MA and want to become a Researcher. Is it possible to go ahead without Mathematics?

Arhana Chakraborty 27th Mar, 2022

MSc Geography course you need to have BSc Geography course which requires you to have Mathematics compulsorily as a subject in your 10+2. So without Mathematics you can't do MSc Mathematics.

Now doing MA Geography also you can pursue your dream of being researcher. Not all the researchers in Geography are from the science background. During the PhD interviews & entrance, both MSc & MA graduates gives the same paper. So don't worry about that, if being a researcher is your dream then MA/MSc don't matter. The important thing that is required is your will power regarding the subject you are studying.

is it compulsory to clear IELTS For Canada ug admission as I am studying ISC Syllabus

Anushri Varshney 18th Mar, 2022

hi there ,

As per your query ,

By attending these exams you can study in abroad .
Few countries accept need other entrance exams like GRE but few countries need IELTS/ TOEFL score. Based on these exams the countries and universities give admissions.

Whether you are from ISC or CBSE or State Board, you have to give only IELTS and get admitted in any Canadian university . The advantage of being an ISC student here is that you are more likely to be accepted in a particular university than the others.

Hope you understand , in case of any issue you can comment here and also  make a new query for the same.

Thank you and all the best.

I am from ISC board. Here the final percentage is calculated from the best of 4 subjects and the one with least marks is neglected. So if I score passing marks in chemistry and good marks in other 4 (Phy Maths Eng Hindi) will it work? or I have to score good marks in chemistry also for future study

Shreya Bhowmick 5th Mar, 2022

Hello!

It depends on the type of higher studies you want to pursue.

If you score well in Physics, Mathematics, English and Hindi and score only passing marks in Chemistry, you can score good a percentage in your ISC examination.

However admission to different B.Sc courses depend on the index marks which depend on some particular subjects too. If the index marks of the subject you want to pursue depends on Chemistry, then you must score good in Chemistry too. On the basis of this index marks, the merit list is prepared.

For admission to courses through entrance examinations, scoring a minimum pass marks in Chemistry in Class 12 will serve your purpose.

Hence it is advisable to score very good marks in all the subjects.

If I got 50% in semester 1 isc what is the maximum % I can score in final results?

Shreya Bhowmick 25th Feb, 2022

Hello!

It mainly depends on what amount of effort you give to your studies. If you prepare a good time table and understand all concepts wisely, you can surely achieve more than 96% in final results.

If your final result is the average of all semesters result, then if there are 2 semesters in your academic year, you can score a maximum of 75 percent and if there are 3 semesters, you can score a maximum of 83 percent approximately. If there are 4 semesters, you can score a maximum of 87.5 percent.

Hope you are clear now.
