It has no problem if you have laminated your 12th school leaving certificate. As when you submit your documents to college they tend to tore or get dirty. It'll be better if it's laminated. The college just want to see the leaving certificate they don't care if it's laminated

If you have laminated your original 12th leaving certificate then I don't think it will be a problem. Any college or university or institution will accept your SLC. Your document will be valid for the verification process. You don't need to worry about anything.

for btech or B.E. IT branch and computer are same and there portion are also almost same , so it does not matter much if you take IT of CS and companies also do not separate IT and CS branch in placements they are treated as same .
