My father and grandfathers name is on the income certificate but the first letter in my grandfathers name is wrong. Is there any problem with that or is it okay?

gopi 18th Aug, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

If only the first letter of your grandfather's name is wrong on the income certificate, it is generally a minor clerical mistake and will not create problems in most situations. But if you use this certificate for official verification (scholarship, government jobs, caste/income benefits, etc), then authorities might ask for correction to avoid mismatched. It is safer to apply for correction/re-issue at issuing authority (Tahsildar/Revenue office) to make all the documents uniform.

For admission for MBA as per TS ICET score is it requires residence certificate of student .If required it is of student or father.3)if Bonafide certificate from class 8th to B.com final year study in telangana provided by telangana schools and colleges is sufficient or still need resident certific

Chelsie G 18th Aug, 2025

For MBA admission through TS ICET, a residence certificate is generally required if you are applying under the state quota, as it helps determine your eligibility for local category seats. Usually, the residence certificate of the student is preferred, but in some cases, the father’s or guardian’s certificate may also be accepted, depending on the rules of the admitting college or university. Regarding the bonafide certificates from Class 8 to B.Com issued by Telangana schools and colleges, these are helpful to prove that you have studied in Telangana, but most authorities still require an official residence certificate to confirm domicile eligibility.

Irrespective of whether you have been alloted a seat or not, if you wish to participate in further rounds of IPU counselling, then you will need to submit the required amount of money.

So submit that amount of money to participate in further rounds of counselling.

Thank You!!!

I have my name as Arihant in my aadhar card but in my all documents i have my name as arihant jain , i have tried several times for aadhar update but it is not updating , will i make a affidavit and will it be accepted in my all MBBS college admission and NEET counselling..

Chelsie G 17th Aug, 2025

If your Aadhaar only has your first name as Arihant but all your academic documents show Arihant Jain, then this can create issues during MBBS admission and NEET counselling because both identity and name consistency are verified strictly. In such cases, the normal process is to make an affidavit declaring that both names belong to the same person. Along with that, you should also carry supporting documents like your 10th and 12th marksheets, admit card, and Aadhaar. Most colleges and counselling authorities accept the affidavit as long as it is notarized and clearly states the name difference. However, rules can vary by state counselling authority, so it is always safer to also try again for an Aadhaar update through the official UIDAI centers, since Aadhaar is often treated as the primary ID.

I am student with pcb background a university is giving me btech cse with bridge course of maths is it valid or is there any other university pls suggest me the name of that university

Afreen 17th Aug, 2025

You can pursue a B.Tech in Computer Science even if you have a PCB background in 12th grade, thanks to recent educational policy changes like NEP 2020 and new UGC guidelines.

However, traditional requirements often include Mathematics. Some private universities are now bridging this gap by offering specialized bridge courses in Mathematics during the initial semesters of the B.Tech CSE program.

This means you can get the required mathematical foundation needed for computer science subjects.

Make sure to check the specific eligibility requirements, which may involve university-level entrance exams, at the university you're interested in. Reputed universities like Lovely Professional University , VIT, SRM, Manipal, Amity , KIIT, and others may offer this option.

Ensure the program (including the bridge course) is approved by relevant bodies like AICTE for validity.

If I have got a college alloted in r2 aiq And already joined a college in r1 for aiq Then is it compulsory for me to get admission in the r2 college or can I leave that r2 college and stay in my R1 college.

Chelsie G 17th Aug, 2025

If you have been allotted a college in Round 2 of AIQ, then the Round 1 seat automatically gets cancelled as per the rules. You cannot retain your Round 1 seat once you get upgraded or allotted in Round 2. If you don’t want the Round 2 seat, you will lose both R1 and R2 seats.

Is it possible to transfer school in mid session in class X

Ankur Mehta 18th Aug, 2025

Yes Shreyashi, transferring schools mid-session in Class X is possible, but it depends on a few things:

1. School & Board Rules: Some schools allow mid-year transfers if your current school issues a Transfer Certificate (TC) and Migration Certificate (for CBSE/ISC). State board rules vary—often they don’t encourage transfers during Class X unless there's a valid reason like relocation or medical issues.

2. Academic Balance: Make sure the new school teaches similar subjects and syllabi so you don’t fall behind. Some schools also have availability limits.

3. Plan Ahead: Once you have the TC, Migration Certificate, and mark sheet for the last exam you passed, apply to your new school immediately. They’ll help with subject alignment and regis

tration.

I am student with pcb background a university is giving me btech cse with bridge course of maths is it valid and safe for future jobs and higher studies and the university is ugc approved not aicte should I take admission in it

Rithwik Kumar Sahu 18th Aug, 2025

If your university is UGC-approved, then the B.Tech CSE degree with a bridge course in Maths is valid and legally recognized for jobs and higher studies, since universities don’t necessarily need AICTE approval. However, lack of AICTE recognition can sometimes create issues for PSU jobs, GATE, or government scholarships, so if your main goal is private sector jobs, higher studies abroad, or general industry roles, it is safe, but for PSU/government pathways, you should confirm AICTE approval before joining.

SHUBHANGI SINHA 17th Aug, 2025

Hello,

Your hobbies and professional objectives will determine whether or not you should pursue electrical engineering. Altho electrical engineering is a vast profession with good employment opportunities, it also necessitates a strong mathematical and physical ability. It might be a perfect choice for you if you have a strong interest in electronics, power systems, and a problem solving and are ready for a demanding curriculum. It could be worth while to look at alternative choices, though, if you are interest are more in computer science or other related professions.
