The category certificate for the caste certificate may or may not be needed at the time of registration depending on the documents asked to submit in the registration portal for application process.

But, at the time of documents verification you need to submit your caste certificate as well

can i give jee mains 2021 or 2022 if i have 12th class%age less than 50%? i have given 12th exam in jk region,can it be better for me to give jee mains 2021 than 2022 because i will get bored, depressed at home for 1 year preparation?

There is no minimum percentage requirement to be eligible to appear for JEE Main. Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognised board in 2019, 2020 and 2021 are eligible to appear for JEE Main 2021. So if you fulfill the above eligibility criteria
