In most colleges , transportation fees and hostel fees are charged separately .

  • Hostel fee : Covers room, food, electricity, etc.

  • Transport fee : Paid only if you use college buses (extra cost).

Examples :

  1. JECRC University : Hostel fee (1.27–1.72 lakhs/year) and bus fee (20k–50k/year) are separate
