Well i have enrolled for pg course in DU but i do not have the confidence that i will pass. So in case if I fail in my entrance exam, can I reappear for it next year? or should i just leave it? will I have any disadvantage the next year since i failed?

Yes, you can reappear for the exam next year, there won't be any disadvantage in Delhi University. Usually in an academic post graduation courses there is no disadvantage as such if you lose out on a year. Because students even take a year gap
