I hope you are aware that WBJEE JENPAUH 2020 Exam has been postponed for JENPAS – UG & PG. Earlier the exam was about to be conducted on 10 May 2020. Infact for 2020–2021 , they will conduct common entrance examination titled JENPAS-UG-2020  for admission to the BSc Nursing.

Yes it is perfectly ok to take a year drop or gap after your 12th to prepare well for JEE examination , and these days taking a gap is quite common many students take one year drop after their 12th and not only qualify JEE mains but qualify JEE
