Class 12 weightage is not added to determine the merit but it will decide whether you are eligible to get admission in IITs/NITs/IIITs or not. You need to score 75% in class 12 if you belong to general category or 65% in case if you belong to SC/ST category

VIT University has cancelled VITEEE 2020. This is because of Covid 19 pandemic. Now admissions in vit will be on xii score basis.  The eligibility is the candidate must have secured Minimum 60% marks in Physics Chemistry and mathematics.  Since you have got 245/300 which more than 60%
