a partical is exhabating a uniform circular motion.the radious of the path is r .and average velocity of the partical for its half cycle is v.then find out the average acceleration for its half cycle?

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 3rd Apr, 2020

Hey,

Considering that the velocity of particle is uniform, then

When the particle completes half revolution change in velocity

Δv=[v−(−v)] = 2v  m/s

Time taken to complete the half revolution is
t=πr/v sec

Thus, average acceleration =Δv/t=2v/(πr/v)

Avg. Acceleration is =  2vv/πr

Hope it helps!
