A train travels 48 km at uniform speed if the speed has been 10 km per hour more it would have taken 4 hours less for the same journey find the speed of the train

Sachin 9th Dec, 2025

Hello aspirant,

Let's the train's speed be x km/h.

Time taken =48/x.

48/x - 48/(x+10)=4

Solving this gives x =6.

So the train's original speed is 6 km/h, and the faster speed would have been

Ayshwarya Mahadevan 3rd Dec, 2025

It is completely okay if you were not strong in studies before. Many students realise their goals a little later, and wanting to serve the country is a very good decision. Since you have studied till Class 10, you can still join defence or police services, but you must complete
