hi neha
I'll prefer you to opt for the JMIS as this college is the better than itm navi mumbai in all the terms whether it is placement, location, corporate interface, and academics. Jaga. Institute of management studies is better than itm so go for JMIS
Hello Sir. The Institute for Technology & Management is located close to “Hotel Three Star” near Hiranandani’s in Kharghar. It is about 15 minutes away from the railway station on foot. The locality is good with everything from malls to central park close at hand.
Infrastructure:
Infrastructure is satisfactory and more than acceptable. Both the hostels are nice and clean. The campus is Wifi enabled and all the hostel rooms are connected by the LAN. Every student is given a laptop but all this comes at a cost, hostel charges are Rs. 1,35,000 per year.
Fees & Placements:
PGDM : Rs. 9,75,000 for 2 years including the hostel charges.
PGDM International Business: Rs. 12,00,000 for 2 years including hostel charges.
The placements are very decent. Companies that recruit most of the students here are Nomura, Union Bank and HDFC. Average salary offered is around 5.5–6 lakhs per annum and highest salary hovers around Rs. 12 lakhs
Faculty:
The faculty is quite decent, you can at times even say ‘very good’. Most of the faculty has good experience. Every Saturday there are visiting faculty visiting the campus.
Seminars and Industry interaction:
The industry interaction is decent. Companies like Siemens keep visiting the campus to conduct seminars regularly. In fact seminars are a weekly affair and the industry exposure can be said to excellent.
Crowd & Campus Life:
The life here is good although you hardly get free time. There are yoga sessions twice a week in the morning. There are sessions on lifestyle management. Attendance is very strict; you are not allowed to miss more than 4 lectures out of 24. A festival known as Frizon is celebrated in the month of November.
ITM navi mumbai Is Not that much of Good..we can put them in to tier 4 category college where ROI is Low as compare to fees..
You can expect a placement of 5-6 lac after 2 years & the fees is around 10-12 lac...If you get the scholership In fees Then You can go for it..Ow Try to get some better college..Or prepare For 1 year to get a good college on CAT score.
Hi,
Well i wouldnt suggest you joining either of the college because both have pretty bad ROI, with an investment of around 10lakhs and if getting placed then adjusting with 5 to 6 Lakhs. With this said ITM Mumbai is better than IBS Mumbai because it was established before IBS and also has smaller Batch size.
Both have good and similar finance companies coming on campus so not a major difference there. Somehow IBS brand is more renowned because of the word of mouth so if you have to tell anyone where are studying MBA then it feel more comfortable to tell you are studying in IBS. With all this said ranking wise ITM mumbai comes above IBS Mumbai, but make your choice based on your reasonsof why do you want to do an MBA.
