Hello My Mat score is 662 and i opted ITM navi mumbai for pgdm marketing. Is it good choice?

CHITRAK KUMAR 14th Mar, 2019

Hi Shanu,

You secured a good score in MAT and accordingly, you can have a lot of goods comes under your score. ITM is one of them as it has a decent fee structure with a decent average package, which can give you a good return on investment, so you have made a good decision in going for this college.

However, there is much better college than ITM you can go for, which have good placement and infrastructure, industry exposure and faculties, like-

1) BHIMTECH, Greater NOIDA

2) XIME Bengaluru and many more

Although these colleges have high fee structure than ITM, but surely they give you better career opportunity and have more companies visited on their campus for recruitment in marketing.

But anyhow, ITM is no far behind these colleges, it is better in terms of Return on investment which is also one of the most important parameters one can judge on. Many top companies like HUL, Amazon, JIO, Aditya Birla and many more come for recruitment in ITM, so you have still good chances to make your future bright.

At last, you can also apply for the other companies outside the campus drive if your desired company is not coming for recruitment.

Hi, I have scored 217 marks in CMAT, which computes to 73.31 percentile. I want to pursue PGDM / MBA in finance. Plz suggest some colleges.

Rahul Anand 8th Jul, 2022

Hi. There. I highly recommend the GIBS B-school in Bangalore. The institute is an AICTE-approved autonomous college associated with Bangalore University. Management studies i.e PGDM are the only programme offered at the college. Infrastructure and amenities are well-developed. It is India's first IRE college. It has a strong track record of internships and placements. The average wage increased from 7.4 LPA to 15.5 LPA. It has internship and placement agreements with over 600 companies. The college provides expert faculty members for instruction as well as expert speeches from industry specialists on a regular basis. They organise a variety of events to help students improve their skills and knowledge. Thank you very much.

Which is better Jaipuria lucknow or itm navi Mumbai or pdpu Gandhinagar

Rahul Gupta 27th Feb, 2019

Hello Pranjali,

According to me both the institutes are good but Jaipuria just edges out ITM because of their research and consultancy outputs in addition to the placement record. As for PDPU, it is arelatively new college and hence I would recommend against taking admission in it.

Also in terms of NIRF rankings, Jaipuria beats ITM.

Now regarding the pros of Jaipuria, it is an old institute with well trained and knowledgable faculty. The industry exposure is good and athe placements are also very good. In regards to placements, you can also sit for placements in other branches of Jaipuria like Noida, so that is a big plus.

Is ITM Navi Mumbai gud for doing MBA.Can i go for it..

v neeraja 24th Feb, 2019

Hi Suman,

Thanks fo A2A

In order to know if a college is good or not, I'd suggest you to evaluate it on a few parameters.

  • Infrastructure: ITM NAvi Mumbai HAs a great infrastructure and perfect classrooms for a channellised MBA Program.
  • Faculty : They have a well trained faculty from some of the premier colleges in India and Abroad.
  • Fees: The fee is a little on the higher side for the PGDM program. It is around INR 9.2Lakh.
  • Placements: The placements are decent. Generally 85% of the batch is placed and good top MNCs visit the campus for recruitment. The average salary is around 5LPA so the ROI is low.

On the whole, it is a decent college.

All the best

Does pgdm retail management and marketing from ITM Navi Mumbai good ACC to ROI

Sagar 23rd Feb, 2019
The ITM Business School, Navi Mumbai offers variety of specialization in PGDM courses, Retail Management and Marketing being one of it.
The fees for the course happens to be Rs. 9.60 L the average package goes upto Rs. 5.75 L.
If seen according to the ROI the investment happens to be almost double the average package one gets and to be frank i personally don't feel it would be going to Rs. 5.75 L,(you can do your own research as well).
But in PGDM usually the ROI of almost all the colleges happens to be the same. So if you are getting into ITM Business School, you can consider that as an option.
