Check placement records if you find it ok then go for it,if not try somewhere else,i strongly recommend you to drop one year and try again next year.

You can try in private colleges. You can get private college in other states like: Haryana, UP, West Bengal, Punjab, Rajasthan, Maharashtra. Most of the states have reservation for other state students in private colleges based on JEE Main score/rank. You need to apply separately for them.

Do you care about how machines work, designing machines etc - go for mechanical
