With 8588 rank in WBJEE GMR and 1451 rank in TFW, it is highly unlikely for you to get any B.Tech branch in Jadavpur University even for the TFW quota as the cutoff rank of top branches has been around 1000 rank and the lower ones have been around 3000 rank and as your rank is a lot higher than that, it won't be possible.

• CSE - 309
• Electronics and telecommunication - 502
• Instrumentation and electronics - 672

Since the final 2025 data is not out the prediction of you getting a seat in various courses ( as per 2024 data is )

• ETCE - it is totally achievable your rank of 445 is well within both 2024 closing and 2025 expected cut off.
• Instrumentation and electronics - there's a strong possibility of getting a seat as your rank is within last year projections.
• CSE - unfortunately the cut off is very competitive and your rank does not fall in range for CSE admission.

With a GMR 41869 and OBC-B rank 3689, admission to Architecture at Jadavpur University is quite difficult. JU cutoffs for B.Arch are usually very high, often closing within a few thousand ranks overall, and most seats go to top rankers. Yes, the student is admissible for WBJEE. The eligibility rule is that a candidate must have studied Physics and Maths along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science as compulsory subjects in the Higher Secondary (10+2) examination, and had an aggregate of 60% (45% for reserved category) in Physics, Mathematics and the third subject combined. The student took PCMB, with more than 80% scored in each subject, so the eligibility criteria are met in full.

For Jadavpur University (Engineering through WBJEE), the same rule applies: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics here, but again with 80%+ marks in all it is eligible.

Currently, Jadavpur University is not giving admissions under the OBC category because of a court case. The West Bengal government’s OBC lists after 2010 have been declared invalid by the High Court, and the final decision is still pending in the Supreme Court.

So, for now, OBC-NCL candidates have to compete in the open category for admission. Last year, the closing rank for the Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering branch was around 295 for the open category.

If you want a good chance of admission, aim for a rank close to or better than that. Keep an eye on official updates from the university and exam board for any changes.

According to the expected marks vs. rank study, if you receive 110 or 105 points, you will probably fall between 10,001 and 15,000 in the rank range based on the WBJEE 2024 statistics.  The cutoff ranks for admission to Jadavpur University's Information Technology (IT) department are highly difficult.  The IT closing rank for the open category in 2024 was around 295.  This implies that in order to get admitted to the IT program, applicants had to place in the top 300.
