How is shiv Nadar and Bennett University for b tech computer science

Hi. Both the universities are good enough for btech in computer science. Howver, there is a huge difference in fees. The fees for Shiv Nadar is 9.4 lakhs while in Bennet, the fees is 14.35 lakhs. Shiv nadar offers 60 seats and bennet offers 120 seats.

Jadavpur University is a State University of West Bengal and thus the admission is done through WBJEE,Jadavpur university doesnt take admissions through Jee Mains.

So, if you want to get into Jadavpur, first sit for WBJEE.

To get into JU, you need to get a rank under 1500,If you are going for Electronics, CSE, Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation etc., then you need a very decent score, your rank should be under 600700. But, if you want to get in IT, Power, Printing, Construction -etc then scoring under 12001500 will be enough.

If you want to get admissions in B.tech in Jadavpur University, Kolkata in any specialization you need to appear for WBJEE. WBJEE is a state level undergraduate engineering entrance exam conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE) Board every year for admission to many government and private engineering colleges/universities of West Bengal. You may get admissions in courses of another streams or under another department but not B.tech on the basis of your 12th percentage. For getting admission in B. Tech you need to give WBJEE.

If i get a bad rank in WBJEE but a rank below 6K (and obc rank below 2k) in jee mains paper 2, can i get admission in jadavpur university?

I think I'm eligible for this answer. I'm from the dropper batch for jee advanced 2018.
As this question requests for mains I'll write on that only. Well as you know jee mains is as easier exam as compared to jee advanced. You need accuracy and speed and must be well cleared with the basics. Lets proceed,
Regarding Physics- I think hc verma is a must book as it deals with concepts from basics to advanced. Well a few topics regarding mains is not complete so you can go for resnick, haliday and walker though its your choice and 40 years is must book you must solve each chapter as it gives you an idea what is asked.If you have joined classes then coaching materials are good.
Regarding chemistry- Ncert textbooks are must for jee mains . They are more than enough. After that 40 years is a must book for mains as well as advanced.
Regarding maths- Ncert textbooks only for basics and few mains topics. As there is no perfect recommended book for maths still there are many options you can go for arihant two big books for jee mains and advanced or some coaching material. . Lastly 40 years is a must book.

You must finish your mains syllabus till December or else you will have a problem in handling boards as well as mains. Mains requires speed so practice as much tests as possible to maximize your speed and score. You can join test series for that. Set a target according to your level . Lastly performance is directly proportional to hard work.
