For admission in Jadavpur University, Kolkata for B.Arch course the admission process is that provisional admission will be made on the basis of the Provisional Admission Letter for a seat of Jadavpur University issued by the WB-JEE for Joint Entrance Examination for Admission to Engineering, Medical/Technological Degree Colleges at any of the Reporting Centers provided the candidate satisfies the prescribed following medical fitness. The merit list is made based on WB JEE.  Jadavpur University, Kolkata does not accept NATA score.

Hello, You are not mention here about the course in which you want admission in Jadavpur University. So, some information I have which I want to give you is WBJEE exam is for B.tech in Jadavpur University  and the NATA exam is for B. arch.

So both the exams are needed for different course.

see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, choice of streams etc. however since this year written test would not conduct shortlisting of students would also depends on their 10th course marks in science subjects. however at this score you have fair chances in tier 1 colleges.

I suggest you to apply for multiple colleges as for making the best possibility of admission in your desired stream.

So both the College are the best colleges in India . So as we know jadhavpur university is in Kolkata and it is a government university and provides a fair placement opportunities for the students when it comes to comparison with the presidency university. Also the presidency university is established later than the jadhavpur university. So it depends upon you who to choose while it will be preferable for you to choose jadhavpur over presidency university.

Yes , it is possible to change branch after first year in Jadavpur University. But your marks should be high so that you don't have to face any problem in changing the stream of your choice.

Jadavpur University,  among many other colleges in West Bengal allow the students to change streams after their first year in B.Tech program. For this, you need to obtain a GPA high enough. It also depends upon the vacancy of the stream that you wish to change to.
For instance, a student studying Civil engineering can change to CSE after completion of UG-1 (1st year) if their GPA is higher than let's say, 8.5. And if CSE stream has any other vacancy left, you will be allowed to.

You can either choose NSEC Kolkata & MAKAUT in house for non Engineering Speciallly for b.sc data Science & Cyber security. MAKAUT is an Top university of West Bengal. You can also go for Makaut University. Decision is yours.

As per the last year Jadavpur University cutoff rank i.e 2019 to get admission in CSE Branch a OBC student should have a most 304 Rank in WBJEE. Then only you can get admission in CSE in  Jadavpur University. As you have 1106 OBC Rank so you wont get admission in  Jadavpur University CSE Branch.
