Yes ofcourse you can get chance in JU. But to get chance you need to do exceptionally good in WBJEE. Your rank must be less than 500. Then only you can grab a seat in Jadavpur University.

Looking at your MATHEMATICS marks I should say that you must be strong enough in math to be a good engineer. Keep practicing and clearing doubts is the key to master mathematics. As 50% questions in WBJEE comes from mathematics,you must be prepared to handle the situation.

The conducting body of Jadavpur University has started the Jadavpur University 2020 admission process for academic session 2020-21 from August 18, 2020 by releasing the application form for BA Hons and BSc Hons programmes. You have to fill the application form before September 4.

The admit card can be downloaded four days before the exam.

Hi Candidate! Jadavpur University is better than IIEST Shibpur. Jadavpur University has good facilities of faculties, infrastructure, culture, academics as compare to IIEST . And of we talk about placements I don't think IIEST Shibpur has better status than JU. IIEST is good college but still they don't have good placements.

I would recommend you to choose Jadavpur University rather than IIEST.

Yes, you can change the department from math to physics in the next counselling but for this first of all you have to fill the form for both Math and Physics and you have to wait for vacant seats available in Physics department. In Jadavpur University suppose if you get admission in Maths department in your first counselling then before second counselling the students admitted in first counselling get first preference to change their department internally.

Last year closing rank for B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering is 304. Last year closing rank for B.E. in Information Technology is 961

Last year closing rank for B.E. in Electrical Engineering is 1076. Last year closing rank for B.Tech. in Food Technology and Biochemical Engineering is 4330

So, you have no chance as cutoff is higher to get a seat in Jadavpur University
