Sevit Kar 15th Jul, 2022

Hello,

Considering you as an engineering aspirant let me tell you that to get into jadhavpur university you need to give the state level entrance examination conducted by the WBJEEB. The name of the examination is WBJEE.

Now to clear the cut off in jadavpur university you need a rank of atleast under 600-700 if you are from other states which is very unfair and for the candidates who are from West bengal state they need to get atleast under 2k rank to get lowest branch in this college.

I am getting Jadavpur University Mechanical engineering... and VIT Vellore CSE ... what should I go for... ?? I will do MBA after the btech degree

Sevit Kar 7th Jul, 2022

Hello,

If you are really determined that you will move ahead with MBA in future then I would definitely suggest you to go for Jadavpur University in Mechanical engineering because there's no point in investing 15-20L in your bachelors degree when you are going to invest 20L in your MBA degree.

In MBA there's no point of doing engineering from a private college. As you will be able to fetch a good package after MBA too. So, i would suggest you to go with Jadavpur University.

Sohamsengupta8 5th Jul, 2022

Hello Student

As you are not comfortable with coding and other related subjects in Computer Science Engineering you should not go for NIT Durgapur for CSE branch course admission. The better choice for you will be take admission in civil engineering course in Jadavpur University. In which you will feel comfort in study of civil engineering in Jadavpur University where campusing or placement is very good for every sections of engineering courses. Salary of office student from Jadavpur University is not then 6to7 lacs.per annum.

Hi aspirant....!

Hope you're doing great...!

So, with regard of you're query. The university of Jadavpur, is only considering the WBJEE rank to get admissions into it. so, one who did not appeared in the WBJEE, he/she can't get a admission into it through management or any paid process, because, it is being a govt college.

Aman Mishra 1st Jul, 2022

Hello,

The rank scored by you is really impressive and also as you have mentioned that you belong to the SC category hence you should definitely apply for the admission in the above mentioned college as the college is also quite good and your chance is also good only you should firstly compare the rank with the cutoffs of the college to make it more clear and precise and also keep more than one option of college is better so that finally you get in any of the good college.

Thank you..
