Based on the 2018 Placement statistics of Jadavpur, 88.57% of the Chemical branch students got placed and 86.59% of Mechanical branch students got placed.

Hello there. IIT has its very own reputation and their are maximum chances for placement from IIT. Considering for IIT, most of the reputed and good companies do visit the IIT's for placement so choosing IIT is always a better option above all the other colleges.
