thanks for asking your query congratulations on securing such a nice rank in wbjee 2019 as per your rank you might get seat in jadavpur university but desired branch you might not get in the first round therefore i would suggest you to wait upto the spot round.

Congrats on your WBJEE rank. Well, during the Councelling process to get admission in college they use general rank and not Community rank. To give a equal importance General rank and categiry you belong both are taken into account. Each college has seperate closing rank for each category.
Hello Aspirant, Yes you can change your stream in Jadavpur University in 2nd year. You can change it from one branch to the other only in 2nd year. And the college will provide the stream according to your CGPA that you gain and performance in the class.
