Should I participate in sliding round IPU? Currently I have JIMS Vasanth kunj(2nd shift) in BCA. Is there any scope of upgradation to JIMS Rohini with 1797th rank?

ayanmukherjee045 28th Nov, 2020

Dear aspirant,

According to your question and taking into consideration that you have got a seat in bca in jims vasanth kunj and you want to know whether to participate in sliding round.

I would recommend you to participate in the sliding round because it is always smart to take up a chance whether you don't get or get the upgraded branch.

which is better law college between Jims greater Noida , delhi metropolitan education or IMS Noida ?

pkp.inutail 28th Nov, 2020

Greetings,

here is some basic information first:

In terms of fees:

JIMS - approx. 3.8 lacs for the course

DME - approx. 3.5 lacs

IMS - approx. 5.5 lacs per annum

Placements:

JIMS - this is a new college so only 2 batches have been placed so far with an average salary of around 5 lacs per annum

DME- very poor, many people opt for legal practice right out

IMS - average placements. the placement percentage is a bit low and here too the graduates prefer to go for practice.

Academics and Infrastructure:

- JIMS - while the infrastructure is pretty average the academic quality has been praised by current students.

- DME- Faculty here is hit or miss )some good, some not so good), infrastructure is pretty great.

IMS - Faculty has been highly praised amongst the current students, infrastructure is average.

So decide on these terms:

- affordability

- Your plans for future (if you want to go for placement then you can eliminate the college with poor placement)

- Personal interest:

as in, if you want to study in a college affiliated with IPU or not, etc.

Hope the answer helped, do not rush the decision, good luck!

Which is better between Jims noida and Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management, both are under GGSIPU?

Yash Kamal Chaturvedi 21st Nov, 2020

Hey friend!

If we talk about Placement opportunities in both colleges=>

Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology;

Quality of placements is average at its best. Except for some mass recruiters no major companies could be seen there. My experience with the placement cell was not smooth, could have been a little more supportive.

Jim's Greater Noida;

The quality of placement is quite good. Companies like HCL,Infosys and many other reputated companies come for placement. The higjest salary package was offered was 8-10 lacs per year. The avg. salary offered was 5-6 lacs per year.

I think you should join the college which is near your house and affordable fee structure in your budget.

All the best friend!

Do MAIMS IS BETTER THAN JIMS? ( FOR BJMC 1 ST SHIFT AS WELL AS IN 2 ND SHIFT ) AND IF YES! THEN WHY JIMS CUT OFF GOES HIGHER THAN MAIMS ?

darshita 14th Nov, 2020

Hello,

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies is good in academic structure but not so good placements wise.

All the facilities and faculty of the college is good but not up to the par .

It is the best college among ipu overall Institutes.

The college also offers Scholarship for meritorious students .

Whereas JIMS is a private college affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

The infrastructure at JIMS is well designed and has all the best facilities.

Though this College has average placement but in small campus it offers good faculty and environment for education.

in my opinion JIMS is better college for you.

hope this helps!!

i got a rank of 444 in IPU BJMC, outside delhi general. can i get JIMS vasant kunj morning shift?

iammohdshareef 13th Nov, 2020

If your question is regarding IPU CET BJMC, cut offs change every year based on total number of applicants for the course, seats available, the difficulty level of the entrance examination, and past cut off figures. But in 2019, the minimum rank was 936 and Maximum rank was 975 for morning shift. For Outside Delhi, the Minimum Rank was 479 and the Maximum Rank was 482. So with 444, you have slim chances. But you should still opt for this College just in case you might get a seat. Other Colleges where you can get a seat are:

Tecnia Institute

Lingaya's Lalita Devi Institute

Fairfield Institute

Madhubala Institute

Trinity Institute

Delhi Metropolitan Education
