Jain University Bengaluru- Cut off marks for BMS course

Vishnupriya 27th Jul, 2019

Hi Niveditha,

Jain University, Bangalore is a Deemed-to-be university, which has it's own approach of admissions. For the admissions into any of the UG courses offered by the university, you might have to apply for the Jain Entrance Test (JET). This test consists of three parts,

A written Test

Group Discussion

Personal Interview.

After a tedious process, the selection is made. This is of individual performance, and the cutoff holds no value here.

All The Best.

What is the fee structure for msc forensic science in Jain University Kochi campus?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 27th Jul, 2019
Dear Amrutha, according to the official website, only fees structure for BE and MBA courses is charged as per the rules of the State Government. The rest of the courses including M.Sc Forensic Science, the fees is self determined. The fees is calculated based on actual running costs plus 25% towards developmental activities including research, outreach activities, students skill development, co-curricular activities, library, internet, sports, etc. So you may have to reach out to the Administration directly.

Which has better placement? Presidency university or Jain university? Which is preferred for computer science engineering in cloud Computing

ramakamanasa Student Expert 19th Jul, 2019

Dear Amrita,

Both the colleges have got their own specialitu and beneficial points.

Presidency university has great record of placements. It's a top rankes college in terms of placements. The college helps provide students with good companies and opportunities. It has great experience faculty group.

Jain university also stands no less in the placements race. It has great opportunities with 100+ companies associated. It helps students to get good skills.

Hence both of them are equally good reviews.

Which is best jain university or presidency university for cse branch and placements.

Nishit_1525340102 Student Expert 13th Jul, 2019

Hello Rajesh,

Placements for Jain University: The placements here are good for computer science and information science department. The reason behind this may be because it is in Bangalore. Almost, 100% placement was there last year for computer science students. The average salary offered was 5.5 lacs per annum. There is a placement cell, and it is useful.

Placement for Presidency University: The placement cell of college is very good. Right from the first year we are prepared for good placements. We have 2 internships. One is during 2nd year and the next one is during 4th year. Lots of companies visit our college for placements. As this year was the first batch to pass out, the average salary package offered was around 4-5 LPA.

Good luck
