The entrance test syllabus for UG Courses will be prescribed by the University. However, candidates can study their academic syllabus of the qualifying exam. The standard of the entrance examination will be that of 11th and 12th level.
There is no specific prescribed syllabus for the entrance examination.

1. regular preparation
2. Cover the whole syllabus
3. Take mock tests
4. Test your preparation levels with respect to your peers
5. See where you are lagging and revisit those areas and prepare again.

Kindly mention the exam.you are talking about since NIT srinagar takes admission according to jee mains and cutoff is around 17000 so you will easily get admission der if you are talking about engineering .

As per your rank in JEE Main 2018 and category, you have less chances of getting admission in Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi in CSE or ECE branch. The cut off for CSE and ECE is very high.
