the eligibility criteria for BA (Hons) English in JMI is : Senior Sec. School Certificate or an equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate or in the subject concerned. The admission to BA(Hons) English is based on entrance test.

In order to get admission in any particular branch will depend upon the cut off list, you can score a rank between 10k to 20k in JEE Main so that you can be considered safe.
