mba Hello.... So I scored 55 marks in MAH CET and I belong to NT(B) category, So do I have any chance of getting admission in SIBM?

Hi,

SIBM and other symbiosis colleges have its own exam called SNAP and it has admissions only through that for MBA. The best colleges which MAHCET offers is Jamnalal Bajaj, Sydhenham and KJ Somaiyya. Remaining college are not so great but still good enough for freshers.

The cut off for the mentioned catagory is in the range of 99.9+ so if you aspire to get into this college your percentile score should be in the range of 99.9x in terms of score one cannot generalize but however to be on a safer side your score score

For JBIMS your chance is Slim..Because in JBIMS therebare only 18 seats from CET and For SC category it is around 4-5 seats..So Mostly all category cutoffs in aJBIMS is more then 99%..But you can get Simsree and KJ somaiya,Welingkar mostly..You can take a chance for JBIMS..But the other colleges

For open category (hu) the cutoff is 99.93( around 140 marks)

As per cutoff you are close to it ,so try and apply for it

The other colleges you can apply are :

SIMSREE- PGDM, Mumbai,KJ Somaiya, Mumbai,Welingkar, Mumbai,S.I.E.S, Mumbai

Yes you are eligible for part time MBA from JBIMS college as you have done your graduation from Mumbai University and you have 2 years of work experience but the work experience should be in an executive or supervisory capacity. 

You have to give the common entrance test

Yes you are eligible to apply for part time MMS from JBIMS.

The basic criteria to get into the course is-

a)  50 percent minimum marks from any of the well established institutes for UGC.

b) Minimum 2 years of work ex in any field of your choice

JBIMS Mumbai only takes MAH-CET scores. Sorry to say but your chances are not so good for JBIMS. Though the outside maharashtra cutoff is 99.99%, for Maharashtra Domicile candidates too, The cutoff is 99.91+. However, you can try for other colleges under MAH-CET like K.J. Somaiya which

Your chances in JBIMS depends whether you are a maharashtra domicile student or an outside maharashtra student. If you are a maharashtra domicile student, they your chances are really good. However, if you are an outside maharashtra student, due to domicile reservation in JBIMS, very few seats
