I am not sure which JNU you are talking about, but I will provide you with both the JNU doubts that you have and then you can figure it out.

Jaipur National University: There is an entrance exam only for admission in engineering. There is a BCom course in this college and it does not require any entrance exam to get admission. The merit in your 10+2 class will be enough to give you a seat at (Jaipur National University.

Jawaharlal Nehru University: The entrance exam of JNU will be conducted from 11th May 2020 to 14th May 2020. To be eligible, you need to score atleast 50% in your class 12th. Also, there is no BCom course in this college.

The syllabus and exam pattern of Msc in life sciences at JNU entrance is as follows-

• Question paper will be of objective type and the syllabus includes life Sciences (Biochemistry, Molecular Biology & Immunology of post graduate level).
• Physics/Chemistry (undergraduate level).
• Maths, Computer & Information Sciences (10+2 level).
• There is negative marking for each wrong answer.
• The time duration of exam is 3 hrs.

No. There are no post graduation program for Psychology ( applied ) in JNU, Jaipur.

JNU, Jaipur is one of the renowned state institutes in India. The university is accredited with grade B by the NAAC. The university offers 43 degrees in 188 disciplines in 19 streams. Psychology is a discipline of Social Science. The JNU offers post graduation degrees in Sociology and Social Works only in Social Science Department.

The Jawaharlal Nehru University is situated in New Delhi and it does provide a B.A. {Hons.} course. it is  a three-year UG course for Rs. 971 total fees. For admissions, you need to first pass 12th standard with at least 45%. Then, you need to clear the entrance test of the institute. You should score at least 30% in the entrance test for admissions to the institute.

As per my knowledge you can pursue Ph.D in sociology if you have done your post graduation in sociology and social work both. As Ph.D is research and social work and sociology has many topics and issue of concern which are similar. Due to the eligibilty criteria of MA courses Under JNU entrance test is 55% minimum in the qualifying exam, you wont be eligible to answer the jnu entrannce test. However you can apply and check the eligibility of other institutes in India for the same.
