Hello,

For admission in language courses in JNU you'll have to go through entrance exam based on which admission will be done. In entrance exam the questions will be asked from you from areas like Knowledge of basic and applied grammar of Korea, knowledge of language concerned and translation and familiarity with the culture and civilization of Korea, familiarity with famous events and writers. Keep in mind that the question paper will be set in Korean language.

The process of hostel allotment process in JNU depends on various factors given below:


Firstly, upto 22.5% (15% for SC and 7.5% for ST, (interchangeable, if necessary) and 3% of the seats in the hostels are reserved for the SC/ST and Physically Handicapped candidates respectively. All SC (Boys and Girls) except residents of Delhi will be provided hostel. The SC/ST/PH students are exempted from payment of hostel fee (room rent). This is applicable only to those SC/ST/PH students who are not in receipt of fellowships/ scholarships and whose parents/guardians income is under Rs. 75,000/- per annum.


The criteria for allotment of hostel accommodation by the University is as under :


First Priority


(a) Students admitted to a full-time Programme of study and who have passed their qualifying examination from places outside Delhi and are not resident of Delhi excepting those who are admitted to a level at which the student already has a degree or has pursued studies in JNU (at the same level) with hostel accommodation.


(b) Students who have passed their qualifying examinations from Delhi but have stayed in recognized University/College hostels and are not resident of Delhi, subject to their furnishing documentary evidence alongwith hostel application from the Head of the College/Institution to the effect that he/she had been a resident student.


(c) Students who have passed their qualifying examinations from Delhi institutions by making their private arrangements for accommodation but at the same time do not have their family residence in Delhi subject to their furnishing a documentary evidence to the satisfaction of the University authorities.


Second Priority


Outstation students who are admitted to a programme at the level at which the student already has a degree or has pursued studies in JNU (at the same level) with hostel accommodation.


Third Priority


Fifth semester of two-year M.A. and M. Phil. 9th semester Ph. D. and local students in that order. Admission to the local students when provided will be only for the duration of the current academic session strictly and such students would be required to surrender the hostel accommodation latest by 31st May of the Academic Session.

The entrance test for MA in French in all these three universities is somewhat common I am providing you topics from which the questions will be asked :

1. Knowledge of French Literature
2. Knowledge of French Civilization
3. Translation and Interpretation

If you want to crack this entrance exam you have to be very well versed with different literature movement, study about the authors and their movements,and works of Important French Authors. You can read French newspaper and read French history and important movements. Also solve the previous year question paper as this will help you in a great way.

JNUEE 2021 Application form is expected to release by the end of this month or on first week of June 2021 and National Testing Agency will release the application forms of JNUEE 2021 UG as well as PG on their platform whose site is given below :-

Jawharlal nehru university offers 2 years m.a PROGRAM On Japanese language , admission , eligibility criteria is applicant must complete Bachelor’s degree in any stream under 10+2+3 pattern of education with a minimum of 45% aggregate and adequate proficiency in the concerned language. you need to participate in JNUEE entrance test conducts by the respective university,  questions will be  formed on below mentioned topics:

Hello, Ive done my UG in BBA with 50% marks. Im from general category. Im willing to do my PG in MA (philosophy). Will my criteria fit for JNU or Will be rejected? Your help & guidance will be appreciated.

Hello Aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you did your graduation in BBA so you are eligible even if you have completed your graduation with aggregate of 50% because for admission to MA Philosophy you need to appear for JNUEE and eligibility for it says that the candidate should have minimum 50% marks in any discipline of graduation but the candidates belonging to Science and Technology discipline should have at least 55% aggregate marks in graduation. So you are eligible for JNUEE for admission to MA in philosophy but note that the above eligibility criteria is only for JNUEE and for getting seat in the required course you need to secure good score in JNUEE because the seats will be allotted on the basis of score of JNUEE. Hello,

No both Delhi University (DU) or JNU 2021 application form is not yet released. elhi University (DU) and JNU 2021 application form will be released in the month of May 2021. As it is the last week of May so it is expected to be released soon in the official website. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has delayed the release due to the ongoing pandemic. The application window is likely to remain open till the month of June on the university’s official website

Yes, you will be eligible for MA History in JNU with BSc forensic science or any other BSc course or a bachelor's degree in any discipline.

This is because,

To be eligible for JNU MA History there is no barrier on the subject one has to have in graduation as
To be eligibility for MA history in JNU one needs to have Bachelor’s/graduation degree in any discipline under 10+2+3  pattern of education with  at least 50 % marks in aggregate .
