For preparation of JNU entrance exam start by sorting between easy and difficult topics and start by understanding and studying the concepts from topics you find tough . Allocate enough time for each topic . Study thoroughly about important topics. Topics which are important and have high weightage must be given more importance.
During last month of examination you make sure not to start with anything new but rather than just invest time in revising and solving mock tests and sample papers as much as possible.

First of all cutoffs varies each and every year as it depends upon various factors. Like in 2018 paper was bit easy , for example in one of the question it was asked. " Full form of SQL?", Just imagine the cutoffs. It also depends upon the number of students appearing for the exam.
But in general if you consider previous cutoffs then for OBC category, 55+ is a safe score to get admission in JNU.
All the best!!
