hope you are doing great. As per your query  I would glad to tell you that jaypees campus of noida will be good and wise option if you are looking to get placed in IT sector. As noida is hub of IT companies ,many startup companies of noida comes in jaypeed university to hire students which increases the number of opporunities for students to get placed . Many tech-giants offices are also in noida which increases the chances of getting placed in noida too in good product based companies

Can i get CSE at jaypee noida with 13 percentile in jee mains and 18 percent in boards?

Harsha Sinha 26th Aug, 2021

Hi there,

I am afraid but 18 percent in boards that means you are not even eligible to go in any engineeii college first pass the boards exam and the think for the college. Although your percentile is also very poor but first focus on boards and try to get a minimum of 45% marks then do jee mains and try to score 90+ percentile for getting a seat atleast. Cse is very far with these academic records.

Shrejal 24th Aug, 2021

Hello student, Yes you can easily get computer science branch in Jaypee Institute of Information Technology Noida sector 62. JIIT allows student to take direct admission who have secured more than 60% PCM percentage and as I can see you have such a wonderful percentage you can surely get a branch of your choice at JIIT. but the only thing to keep into consideration is that you should have 60+ PCM percentage, overall percentage is not considered only PCM percentage is considered.

All the Best!

Chandigarh University BTech vs Jaypee Noida BTech which better

Purbayan Chatterjee 14th Aug, 2021

Hey Yash,

Let me share some insights so that it is easy for you to make your decision.

  • NIRF '20 Ranking: CU ==> 84 | Jaypee ==> 115
  • Placements: Both are almost equal, however their median salaries are:
    • CU ==> 3.5 LPA
    • Jaypee ==> 3.6 LPA
  • Fees (4 years): CU ==> ~7.5 Lakhs| Jaypee ==> ~9.5 Lakhs
  • Faculty: Here CU takes the lead.

Based on these information, it is advisable to choose CU over Jaypee because of its value for money. Nevertheless you too work out your priorities and make the decision that suits you the best.

Hope this was helpful.

I got 90 %ile in jee can i get cs at jaypee noida

Shivam Kumar 13th Aug, 2021

You may apply for it but there is less possibility to get CSE (B.Tech) in Jaypee Noida with this score. You may get Electronics and Communication Engineering (4 years) or Computer Science 5-years (B.Tech + M.Tech) integrated course. I can't predict very accurately as the cutoff fluctuates a lot.
