Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing good. It is always advisable to choose the branch that motivates you rather than choosing a college. Therefore give more preference to the engineering branch you are more inclined to over the choice of college.
All that said, if you do not have any such preference in the branch, then it is advisable to go with CSE at GTBIT as you will have a lot of scope if you take CSE.
Hope this helps.
Dear Parents,
Sector 62 is one of the best campus of JIIT and if anyone able to come under the rank of 80K then there is a very good chance that he will get CSE in this campus.
As your son got the rank of 76644 then there is high chance that he can get any of the branch, either it will be CSE or IT.
Moreover you can visit to their official site to know the previous year data.
You can use this link to know some more good colleges according to his rank.

Thank you..
Hello aspriant
hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query, I would glad inform you that by congratulating you for scoring such a good rank in jee mains . I would advise you to for cse at jiit noida sector 128 . First reason it has very good brand name and coding culture is very amazing due to hardworking students and faculties. Another big reason it is situated in noida , noida has offices of many its companies which comes in jiit which increases placement opportunities
Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future
Hi,
Candidates willing to take admission in JIIT Noida should either qualify JEE exam with good rank or you can also be selected on the basis of your 12th board marks. Generally, if candidates score a minimum aggregate of 50% in science stream in 12th boards from a recognized institute can apply for admissions into the institution but the cut-off is generally high so getting above 90% is always a safe benchmark to have but this year, there's a lot of confusion regarding the boards marks & few students have got more than expected & few have got really less, so nothing can be guaranteed. You can apply & there might be a good chance for you to get into the college after the counselling process.
Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.
With such query I must say just move forward for which you're passionate about. If you have a great passion of electronics then take ECE, if you have interest in IT sector then CSE. Make sure an ECE engineer can get a job in both core and IT sector. But if you still can't determined then I can tell you some point about JIIT and CU, you can choose according to you.
First and most important thing JIIT is a ‘deemed university’ est. 2001 whereas CU is ‘private university’ est. 2012. Therefore JIIT enjoys a good reputation in the industry and a good alumni network.
Being in the NCR adds up to the exposure factor, with MUNs happening every week and many other events being held frequently. Along with that there are many study centers for students interested in CS, GATE, CAT etc for further studies.
Now placements are a strong point of JIIT with companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Cognizant, Barclays, SAP etc visiting the campus every year and every student walking out with AT LEAST one offer (some with more than one). In CU placement is good as JIIT but they take admission at least 3000 students only in CSE department and there is no criteria of taking admission in Chandigarh University in any branch. So later when you will be in third year, they divide the batches on the basis of AMCAT score and the students who get the higher batches, they will get the privilege to sit in placement drives. And they take extra fee for the TPP classes which is for the placement. If you won't pay TPP fee, you will not be able to sit in placement drives in any manner. Hope this may help you.
